Information on how to use the built-in citation tools in many of the library databases to generate citations, along with examples of correct citations.

Citation Formats Supported

Flipster does not have a built in citation generator. You may use the following template for citing magazine articles found using this database. Most citation styles will have you leave off components that your article does not have, such as a volume or issue (look for those on the banner above the issue).


Template

APA

Author Last Name, Author Initials. (Full Date). Title of article. Magazine Title, Volume(Issue), pages-pages.

MLA

Author. "Title of Article." Title of Magazine, vol. X, no. X, Full Date, pp. pages-pages. Flipster, URL.

Chicago: Author-Date

Author. Year. "Title of Article." Title of Magazine Volume (Issue): pages-pages, Flipster.

Chicago: Notes & Bibliography

Author. "Title of Article." Title of Magazine Volume, no. Issue (Date): pages-pages, Flipster.
