The third floor is the quiet study floor, perfect for those who need a quiet and studious atmosphere, as talking and other noises are not permitted. Please be considerate of those who are studying while you explore!
There are study cubbies and other seating throughout the floor.
If you have thought "where are all the books?" at some time during this tour, here's your answer! The Circulating Collection spans the entire third floor, and consists of more than 80,000 print books and audiobooks. These books, including both nonfiction and fiction, are organized by subject (using the Library of Congress Classification system) and are searchable through the library catalog. All books and audiobooks on this floor may be borrowed by current SF students, staff, or faculty with an SFID card or government-issued ID card.
The other small collection on this floor is the Graphic Novel Collection, located at the very end of the Circulating Collection, past the Z's. This collection contains graphic novels and comic books on a variety of topics, organized by author. These titles may be borrowed by current SF students, staff, or faculty with an SFID card or government-issued ID card.
