Along the back wall are the first floor study rooms. Study rooms can be reserved online up to two weeks in advance for three hour blocks or less. The three along the back wall (Y-123, Y-123A, and Y-123B) are for 1-4 people and are self check-in rooms; users check in using the link in the reservation email. The other two (Y-131 and Y-132) are for slightly larger groups of 2-8 users and users check in at the Circulation Desk.
All study rooms have a table, chairs, whiteboards, and a TV that can project a computer or laptop.
Across from rooms Y-131 and Y-132, along the inner column, is the Mind Body Life @ SF privacy room. This is an enclosed pod to help students maintain confidentiality while engaging with SF's health care app, TimelyCare. The privacy room is limited to one user at a time and can be reserved for one-hour blocks.
Finally, at our last stop on the first floor, look south from the privacy room to see two small bookcases by the windows. This is the New Books collection and shows a sample of the new books that have been added to the collection recently. All books may be borrowed at the Circulation Desk, and the items are refreshed regularly.
This concludes the spotlighted areas on the first floor. Now head to Tour Spot 4 on the second floor by taking the elevators or the public stairwell by Coffee 101.
