Open Educational Resources

What Is OER?

OER stands for Open Educational Resources. These resources are free, curated content aimed at reducing college students' costs. According to EdWeek, "Open educational resources are materials for teaching or learning that are either in the public domain or have been released under a license that allows them to be freely used, changed, or shared with others."

This guide provides resources for those interested in learning more about OER. You may also wish to consult the Open Educational Resources page from the Center for Academic Technology & Training.
