Health Statistics

In some nursing classes, particularly Community Health Nursing in the B.S.N. program, you may need to access health data. This type of information is usually easier to locate on websites than in books or articles. 

The following websites have statistics that may be helpful to you:

If you don't find what you want using these sites, try typing keywords related to your topic, the keyword statistics, and site:gov into a Google search box.

If that still doesn't work, consider calling local agencies in the region you are researching to see if they collect their own data.
