Research in the humanities is about exploring ideas, understanding different perspectives, and making connections across the human experience. Regardless of your topic, the sources you use shape your understanding and arguments.
This guide will help you navigate the research process, from discovering different types of sources to evaluating their credibility and citing them correctly. You'll learn where to find books, article, online sources, and multimedia, as well as how to assess their relevance and reliability for your work.
Research isn’t just about gathering information. It's about thinking critically, engaging with diverse viewpoints, and building your own insights. This guide uses knitting as the central theme, so all the sources referenced will be related to this topic. Let's get started!
