Florida's Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT) test is used to assess academic skills in mathematics, reading, and writing. The PERT test can be taken at the Placement and Assessment Center (located in K-05 on the Northwest Campus).
The Library has many books related to the PERT. You may search for these books, along with eBooks and other resources, by using the library catalog. Prospective students who are not yet enrolled in classes are allowed to borrow books related to the PERT provided they have an SF ID number and a government-issued photo ID card.
Type the following subject heading in the library catalog and select Subject.
Use the following call number area to browse on the third floor of the Library. All books on the third floor may be checked out at the Circulation Desk.
The following websites may be useful to you as you prepare for the PERT. These links are external sites. As such, content may change frequently and they may contain ads. Per policy, the Library does not review links suggested via email.
For prospective students who are not yet taking classes at Santa Fe College, or for current students who would like another option, the Alachua County Library District provides access to Learning Express, a database providing access to PERT test preparation, along with other tests and skills. A public library card is required to access this database, but is free for Alachua County residents.
