Register to Vote

REGISTER TO VOTE ONLINE in Florida.

 

Your voters registration must be submitted online or postmarked no later than Tuesday July 22 to vote in the Primary Elections.

 

 

To register to vote in Florida you must be:

  • 18 years of age (A person may pre-register on or after their 16th birthday, but must be 18 to vote.)
  • a citizen of the United States
  • a legal resident of Florida

The following persons are not entitled to register or to vote:

  • Persons adjudicated mentally incompetent with respect to voting, who have not had their competency restored pursuant to law
  • Persons convicted of a felony, whose civil rights have not been restored. If you have been convicted of a felony and have not had your rights restored, review the clemency information online.

REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT- to vote by mail in the August election, request your absentee ballot by August 8.

August 20, 2024 - Primary Election (Deadline to Register or Update Party Affiliation: July 22, 2024) 

  • Early Voting: August 5 - August 17, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day

November 5 - General Election - (Registration Deadline October 7, 2024) 

  • Early Voting: October 21 - November 2.
