Scanner Locations

There are two scanners on the 2nd floor. The scanners are located by the printer, near Y-210. Scanning is free.

How to Scan

The BookScan stations have a touchscreen monitor. Click the Touch here to begin button.

Click the right and left arrows to scroll through these instructions.

Choose where you would like to send or save your file. You may insert a USB drive, send to an email address, save to a smartphone via a QR code, or save to Google Drive.

Next, select the color options and file type needed. The default options (in purple) are high quality, black and white, and PDF. You may choose to scan in color or select a different file type, such as a PNG, which is an image file.

Place your original document face-down on the glass of the attached scanner and close the lid.

Click the green Scan button.

A preview of your scan will appear. You will be able to rotate, crop, or delete it. For multiple pages, keep scanning (place new page then click the Scan button). The system will build your file.

Once you have scanned everything, click the Deliver button.

The Deliver screen will differ based on your saving method. This screen appears if you choose the Email option. Type in the email address where you want to send your scanned document.
