Introduction

The Lawrence W. Tyree Library serves the students, staff, and faculty of Santa Fe College with study space, academic resources, and research help. The Library is open seven days a week, including evening and weekend hours.

Smart investing@your library® Grant

In 2014, the L. W. Tyree Library received a two year $100,000 Smart investing@your library® grant. In addition to hosting financial literacy sessions, the Library created this financial literacy portal, filmed three short videos, and purchased numerous materials for the library collection. A new one credit class, ECO1931 Personal Finance was created and offered in Fall 2015. It covered budgeting, financial goal setting, responsible use of credit, saving, renting, taxes, and other topics.
