Locating Music
CDs and vinyl records are available in on the second floor of the Library. CDs may be checked out for 4 weeks and records may be checked out for 2 weeks. There are also four portable record players that may be borrowed; ask for this at the first floor Circulation Desk.
Best Global Music Album
Best Global Music Album has been awarded since 1992 to international or non-Western Classical music under various names, including Best World Music Album. From 2004-2011, the award was split into two separate categories: Best Traditional World Music Album and Best Contemporary World Music Album. In 2012, the two categories were merged back to Best World Music Album. In 2021, the award was renamed Best Global Music Album.
