Books provide an in-depth look at a topic, but on a broad scale. Due to publishing schedules, they may not have the latest information. You will use the library catalog to look up books about specific topics, or you may browse certain areas to find relevant titles.
Browse for books about economics by going to the following call number areas in the Reference Collection (second floor) or Circulating Collection (third floor). Reference books are for in-library-use only (do not check out); books on the third floor may be checked out.
To search for more resources about economics, you can use subject headings. Subject headings allow you to find books specifically about a topic. Go to the library catalog, type in the subject, and select Subject.
These books contain basic and foundational information on economics. Use the call numbers to locate print books on the third floor of the Library. Click the titles of eBooks to view the full text online. You may be prompted to log in with your Office 365 account. You may also request that books be sent to Blount Hall downtown or another Center.
